Education Qualification: Qualification for Indian Navy 10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme for Jan 2025 Course

The Indian Navy has announced opportunities for unmarried male and female candidates who meet the nationality criteria specified by the Government of India. They are invited to apply for the four-year B. Tech degree course at the prestigious Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala, under the 10+2 (B. Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme. This program is designed for both Executive and Technical branches and is scheduled to commence in January 2025.

Candidates must have passed the 10+2 pattern or equivalent examination from any Board with a minimum of 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM). They should also have obtained at least 50% marks in English, either in Class X or Class XII. Additionally, candidates are required to have appeared for the JEE (Main) 2024 exam for eligibility under this scheme.

It is a scheme that offers a 4-year B.Tech degree course at the Indian Naval Academy for selected candidates.

Candidates should be born between July 2, 2005 and January 1, 2008 (both dates inclusive).

There are a total of 40 vacancies, with a maximum of 12 for female candidates.

Selection involves shortlisting based on JEE (Main) 2024 All India Common Rank List (CRL), followed by SSB interviews and merit list preparation based on SSB marks.

Online applications are invited from July 6 to July 20, 2024.
